Wedding favors are gifts given to each and every guest. They’re a way to say “thank you” to each guest for coming to the wedding and being a part of the bride and groom’s happiest day. Wedding favors obviously have a lot of meaning, and they’re an important factor for weddings— just as the ceremonies and receptions are. These “thank you” gifts can be any number of things—personalized trinkets, candles, vases, silverware, champagne, flowers, etc.
So how are wedding favors decided? The bride and groom both must make a list of ideas. The ideas can be based on things like the theme of the wedding, the location, the colors, etc. For instance, what would be a good wedding favor for a beach wedding? What would be some great favors that represent a “classic” wedding theme? The bride and groom (in that scenario) must sit down and figure out the best way to say “thank you” to all of the guests for coming to their classy wedding at the beach.
They also need to decide whether they want to give out unique wedding favors or popular ones. Trends come and go, and some favors are more popular than others. Photo frames, for instance, are always popular wedding favors. Why not give the guests a chance to save their favorite picture from the wedding in a nice frame? Photo frames are made in a variety of styles and colors. Some designs are simple, some are colorful, and some are elegant. No matter what the theme of the wedding is, there are photo frames designed to go along with it.
Another popular wedding favor is candles. Candles can be very romantic and classy—a perfect representation of a wedding ceremony. They come in any number of sizes and colors, so it’s easy to order some to go along with the wedding theme and colors. They are also very affordable, so even with a low budget, a large number of candles can still be ordered for a decent price.

Candy is always a popular gift, especially chocolate treats and mints. Many wedding gift shops also allow the candy wrappers to be personalized! The guests will all appreciate their names being on the candy. It’s a great way for the bride and groom to let their guests know they truly acknowledge every single one of them.
Speaking of yummy wedding favors, cookies and honey are very popular. Wedding cookies can be ordered as “bride” and “groom” shapes. Honey can be ordered in personalized jars. In Greek and Roman mythology, honey represented “love” and “fertility”. Who doesn’t love cookies and honey!? They both can be ordered at discount rates from online wedding gift shops.
Popular favors for beach weddings include: sea shells, mini ship figurines, coaster sets with beach art, “sea shell” shaped candles, and cute “beach pail” tealight holders. Clearly, there are wedding favors for any theme. The couple will want to make their wedding as memorable and enchanting as possible, so what better way to do it than to give out popular favors!?
